Opening Night Arts Group is proud to announce our scholarship winners for 2010. On March 13, Opening Night Arts Group awarded its' annual scholarships to worthy high school and college students from the southwestern suburbs.
The Top Hat Scholarship for exemplary service to the community was awarded to Marita Miller(Oak Lawn), a Mother McAuley alum attending St. Ambrose University in Iowa and will study abroad at Carlow College, Carlow, Ireland in the fall.
The ONAG Scholarship for outstanding service to the organization and the community went to Elizabeth Lorang (Homer Glen).
Nicole Coniglio(Orland Park), a senior at Carl Sandburg HS, attending St. Xavier University in the fall, received the groups Scholastic Achievement Award for academic excellence.
Finally, The Gianna Esposito Memorial Scholarship, to a college student majoring in the area of the performing or visual arts was awarded to Bridget Earnshaw (Cedar Lake, IN) to further her studies at Trinity Christian College.
Awarding scholarships is one of the primary goals of the annual mainstage productions, established during the creation of ONAG.
